- New compression algorithm (XZ, the new LZMA format) in RPM packages for smaller and faster updates
- Experimental 3D support for ATI R600/R700 cards
- GCC 4.4, GNOME 2.28, KDE 4.3,2.6.31 Linux kernel,NetBeans 6.7,PHP 5.3, Apache 2,Perl 6 etc

32 bit vs 64 bit Fedora 12 version
